Drywall Estimator - (Must be able to use On-Screen Take off)

With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to high-quality workmanship, they are seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator to join the team in Beltsville, MD. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of dynamic construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret plans and specifications to prepare comprehensive and competitive written proposals.
- Utilize knowledge of local material, labor, and equipment costs to ensure accurate estimates.
- Stay informed on local, city, and state building codes to maintain compliance in all projects.
- Manage and mentor project engineers and assistant estimators, fostering professional development and team growth.
- Continuously develop expertise in product lines, including drywall, acoustical systems, Division 8 (doors/frames/hardware), and Division 10 (specialties).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Assistant Estimator or 5-7 years of relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
- Strong self-motivation and a commitment to professional excellence.
